Hi Everyone

I know this sounds crazy, but the WRONG, unmastered, unsequenced, unfinished version of the new album April March And Steve Hanft - Magic Monsters was sent to the digital distributor. So ... if you have downloaded this unmastered version from iTunes or anywhere else please contact us at aprilmarch@aol.com (not through myspace as it takes me a while to go through my messages quickly) and I will have a CD of the correct master sent to you. This problem should be corrected within the next few days.

The way to determine whether what you have downloaded is incorrect or if what's up on a site is incorrect is if the song "no one aroun" is an acoustic version. The correct album version has "no one aroun" with a full electric band also there are sound effects or dialog in the intros of "bionic sasquatch", "lunar lake"and "mind phone". Also the Mastered version has some other extras and just plain sounds a lot better and louder than the unmastered version. The other way to check is by the sequence. If it's the correct version it should be in this sequence: flashback part II, attention cherie, bionic sasquatch, sun machine, summer's day, lunar lake, no one aroun, mind phone, way out, and dream flowers.

Sorry about that. I hope this incorrect version gets replaced quickly by the distributor with the correct one. again don't hesitate to contact me at aprilmarch@aol.com if you downloaded the wrong version so I can send you the right one.

NEW ALBUM

REMIX

Producer Ashley Beedle (Black Science Orchestra, Ballistic Brothers, Rolling Stones, et al) will release his remix of April March's "Attention Cherie" on his label, OUT HEAR. We don't when exactly, but it should be this spring.

Thanks! all of you who made it down to the recent shows in NYC and Greece. The new lineup is great. Blasco (Interpol, Blasco Ballroom, Secret Machines, Magnetic Morning) is once again playing keys and guitars, Christian Owens (Bishop Allen, Tomorrow's Friend, Mates of State, Grandma's Boy) is playing bass, Nicholas Ray (Viva L' American Death Ray Music, The Limes, Valentines, 68 Comeback) is playing guitar and Steve Weiss (State Prison Surprise, Split Over Drapes) is playing drums.

Renault Twingo

Renault launched an ad campaign featuring "Chick Habit" for their Twingo car. There are two different ads. One is a spoof of Tarrantino's "Death Proof", the other involves lots of Lego. The ads have been running in France for the past 6 months and just recently the UK has taken on the two ads as well.
